Closing out my daughters cancer journey

Miriam's door at Diamond 6 West, Banner UMC
On January 13, 2016 our life was sent upside down with a diagnosis of cancer of our beloved eldest daughter Miriam Joy. Five years later we are closing out a period of walking through the fires, coming out stronger than before it all began. Not without scars, we are finding healing as a family and have changed in ways that only suffering can administer. We have grown in wisdom!

Night before surgery

Off to surgery to remove her tumor

Treatment over 9 months and closed in October 2016

Room on Diamond West, Sixth Floor

Post surgery with her port for chemo installed

Pages I wrote in my journal when I found out my three year old daughter had cancer

We are so thankful for our all the love and support our family experienced over these years. We wouldn't be here without the care and support of so many. Thank you from all Yeakleys and join us in celebrating good news!
